Maker Spaces enable our students to develop into empathic problem-solvers and entrepreneurs by transforming ideas into real-life products using emerging technology that help people to live dignified lives.

SKEI was selected by NITI Aayog, Government of India, to establish Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) in the school. The lab was inaugurated on 13th July 2019. The vision of ATL at SKEI is to create a pool of talent that can transform ideas into reality through empathy and by cultivating the spirit of curiosity and creativity; as well as exponentially increase their scientific temper and innovativeness through hands-on-do-it yourself approach. We adhere to the Atal Tinkering Lab Curriculum.

The main aim of the programme is to foster the spirit of innovation among the students and to create the perfect environment for a well organised and meaningful teaching-learning process. The ATL lab strives to instil skills of today and tomorrow such as empathy, design mindset, computational thinking, adaptive learning, physical computing etc.
